Air

From Sydney Airport the Sutherland Shire is an easy 30-minute drive south, past Botany Bay or hop on the train from the domestic or Interational train station within the airport. Change at Wolli Creek onto the Illawarra line and catch the train to Cronulla. 

Train

From Sydney CBD you can access the Shire by train from the Eastern Suburbs and Illawarra lines. Visitors from the south, including Wollongong and Nowra, can travel via the South Coast line. 

Road

From the north you can access the Shire via the Princes Highway over Tom Ugly’s Bridge at Sylvania or Rocky Point Road over Captain Cook Bridge at Taren Point, or on Alfords Point Road at Illawong. From the south you’ll arrive via the Princes Highway through Waterfall.
