Kite Flying Festival

After great success of Kite Flying Festival at Castle Hill Showground for last few years, for the First Time Ever, their team is bringing this exciting Kite Fest event to Community of Cronulla and surrounds. Held as part of the City’s Summer Series of Free Entry, family-friendly, smoke-free and alcohol-free events, the Kite Flying Festival will give people the chance to experience a sea of colour as kites of all shapes and sizes fly above the foreshore. Kites featuring mermaids , Batman, superheroes, flying Fish, Dragons, Aliens, Lady Bug, elephants, Parrots, Butterflies and Lions will all take flight during the festival from Don Lucas Reserve . The event will include a varieties of fun and entertainment activities for all age groups. Event highlights include a live DJ, a variety of food stalls/vans, kids rides and entertainment, face painting and Henna and merchandise stalls. Free entry.
