What started as a simple idea to connect community and services has become something really special. With each event, we are building more awareness, more understanding, and stronger connections between the people who need support and the people who provide it.
We’d love to invite you to join us again for our next Connected Care event, proudly hosted by HomeCaring Sutherland and Empowered Healthcare, and focused on Accessibility, Inclusion and Safety.
This session will explore how we create communities where people feel welcome, safe, and able to participate fully. We will be joined by a guest speaker from Sutherland Shire Council, along with real stories, practical information, and open conversation designed to support people living with disability, older residents, carers, families, and the professionals who walk alongside them.
What you will gain by coming along:
Practical insights you can apply in everyday life or your work
A clearer understanding of accessibility and inclusion at a local level
The opportunity to connect with others who care about community
Space to ask questions, share experiences, and learn together
Who to bring:
Clients, participants, or residents
Family members or carers
Colleagues or team members
Anyone in your network who would benefit from feeling more informed and connected
