Kids Holiday Songwriting Workshop

For kids aged 8-12, this is the ultimate songwriting experience during the summer school holidays! Students will get to bring their musical ideals to reality at this 2 day immersive songwriting workshop at Kirrawee Library+ The program has been designed to suit those with little to no musical experience right through to advanced musicians. Led by former Universal Music artist, Sophie Hanlon, during this fun-filled, creative workshop, kids will: * Learn about song structure * Understand and practice lyric writing * Learn and use popular chord progressions * Understand and practice melody creation * Get hands on with industry-standard music tools and software * Collaborate with other young musicians in creative songwriting exercises * Leave with their own recorded track!
