Details

You are invited to an upcoming morning tea, fundraiser and information session we’re hosting in the Sutherland Shire. This one is focused on cancer survivorship and what support actually looks like beyond treatment. It’s an area that doesn’t always get the attention it should, despite being where many people are left managing the long-term impacts day to day. We are bringing together medical practitioners, allied health, and the broader community to explore this more practically. The session will be led by Brent Collier (Peak Health) and the CanRecover team, with a focus on: • Fatigue and recovery • Bone health and muscle strength • Lymphoedema Register here: https://events.humanitix.com/supporting-cancer-survivorship-in-the-sutherland-shire • Peripheral neuropathy and pain • Quality of life post-treatment HomeCaring Sutherland is proud to be sponsoring this as a community service provider, supporting people not just through care, but in how they live day to day. If you have attended previous events with us, you’ll know we focus on keeping these sessions practical, relevant, and worth your time. Cost: $15 (donation supporting cancer recovery and ongoing support) If this is relevant to your work, or to people you support, I encourage you to come along.
